eBay Mystery Auction

I decided to list a few items on ebay and see if I get any bites. I have three things for sale... a package of wall art, a jewelry mystery auction and a money mystery auction. I put all three online today and just enjoyed using my creative mind.

I found a great deal online for the wall sculptures and thought they were a great piece of art. Not sure why but I wanted to list them on eBay because I think they would bring joy to someone that loves music. Take a look at the wall art for yourself.
WALL ART

My jewelry auction was develope for my friend. She has a wonderful retail store filled with great gifts but she doesn't get a lot of traffic. I know she has beautiful rings, necklaces and bracelets that she can part with which made me think of selling them for her online. They are brand new and I can fill the box with a lot as long as the bidding reaches a high enough amount. I sure hope it does because it will help her out and also be a steal for the winning bidder.
JEWELRY MYSTERY AUCTION

My final listing is a money mystery auction. I read so many bad reviews regarding these scam artists that I wanted to change that persona. It's really a shame that those people have ruined it for others but I am trying to turn that around. I am donating 10% of my proceeds to the American Breast Cancer Foundation and keeping 10% for myself in order to cover my costs. That leaves 80% for me to return to the customers. Now I can't please everyone but I am trying to spread the wealth across the board to as many people as possible. Of course I can not promise that everyone will be ahead but at least 50% will be. I just want to be fair and because of that, I will not send any money into their accounts until all 25 envelopes have been purchased. Check it out for yourself.

Back Online

Guess who's back? That's right, I got my laptop back up and running. I'm not sure what I did but I fix the problem. Something about my DNS and IP Address not getting verified correctly. I also had an issue with my ARP Cache being full but was able to clear that out. After a few tweaks and a couple hours later, I finally logged on. Too bad a figured this out on Sunday night before I have to start my week back at work. Oh well...

Internet Connection

Today was the best day for computer work but I can't say I didn't try. My laptop is still not connecting and I even tried to use the hard wire but still nothing. I brought my old desktop from home over to my girlfriend's place and still couldn't get online. Is it me? Am I giving off these bad vibes? It's now 10:30 and I have had it. I have to go to work in the morning which I am not really thrilled about. The worst part is that I have to go in early to finish some work before I get slammed with the calls and staff.

I wish I could afford that Apple right now, that would put a smile on my face. I played a little bit at Best Buy today and I love that Apple. You can do so much with it. Okay, enough bitching for the night. Sorry to vent but it's been a rough weekend and without my computer being able to go online, I feel useless. I can get online with the girlfriend's pc but I don't have my tools/programs that I am use to and need. Hopefully I can figure this stuff out soon. Good night everyone and have a great week!

Apple or Dell?

So recently my computer crashed and I can no longer get only. My current computer is a Toshiba laptop and about 5 years old. I am ready for a new one but really can't afford it. Do you think I should wait and save up money for an Apple, or should I just get on the work payment plan and purchase a Dell? Please list your opinion on the pros and cons of each unit. Thanks!

Yahoo Live Streaming Video

Happy Friday everyone! It sure seems like it has been one long week but are we ready for the weekend? You bet we are! It was busy today at work but I was able to sneak in a few minutes to read a little bit of information regarding the Yahoo Live Streaming Video page. If you want to link a video to your website and talk live to your audience, this new tool will do the job. It's a nice touch to your blog for sure. Now I do hear there are a few bugs to still work out but if you want to get your URL, I would recommend you hurry and get it now before all the good ones are gone.

Informative Blogging Site

Late last night I was reading my Blogging Bible, Blogging for Dummies, and came across a website called ProBlogger.net. I decided to wait until morning before work to check this site out since I was on my way to bed. I tossed and turned all night long because I couldn't stop thinking about it. I gave in about 5:45 am and logged on in my office (bathroom). That is where I create my best work! LOL. So I found a lot of useful information about blogging that I wanted to share with you. In fact, I am so impressed that I will be adding him as a Recommend Site on my page here in the near future. I must admit though, I have had a couple problems navigating on his site because I keep receiving error messages. Not sure why this is but it's a small issue I am not real happy with. Overall I give his site a 9 because it's full of great content and he has a pretty good sense of humor which makes for easy reading. I hope you enjoy his site and learn some things from him just as I did.

Oval Office Report

Last night I worked hard on building a political news website. Honestly I have no interest in politics or even who the next President will be. I know, that sounds so unpatriotic but I figure there are no worthy choices anyway. Enough about politics since this is an entrepreneur blog.

The whole site took me about 2 hours to build and looks pretty good if I do say so myself. The reason I built this site is to generate money from the ads in the sidebars and also ask for donations to help keep the site up and running. I used the RSS Feeds from Google News and imported that feed into my site. It updates on it's own, so it looks as if I have a site that is updated constantly. Check out my site and let me know what you think! OVAL OFFICE REPORT

Super Bowl... The Real Big Players

The Super Bowl wasn't really exciting until the last quarter but I must admit, those commercials were wonderful. Can you imagine the money spent for a 30 second clip. Is it really worth the money if you are reaching a billion people? I honestly don't know and don't really care because if anything, they sure made me laugh. Myspace jumped right in with their advertisement about where to find the Super Bowl commercials. What a brilliant idea and I guarantee they will get many hits on their site because of that. So who are these salesgenie.com guys? I never heard of them and they seemed to come from left field. Do you think they will become a big household name as Myspace, Google or Yahoo? Only time will tell but what are your thoughts on this? I would love to hear your comments.

Planes, Yachts and Automobiles... Oh My!

I woke up this morning kind of groggy since I didn't get much sleep. You know that feeling you get when you wake up knowing that it's Sunday and you have to go to work tomorrow.... yep, that feeling sucks! It doesn't help that I have to do the laundry, clean house and attend a Super Bowl party today. So much to do in very little time, especially when you just want to relax.

I turned on the TV for some background noise while I surfed the web and noticed a channel that was showing Luxury Yachts and Aircrafts. Of course I couldn't help but tune in and watch. The Travel Channel always has shows like this that just make me drool and question why I don't own one myself. What is it these people do? How did they acquire such fortune? Since I live in Arizona, I thought it would be nice to fly to San Francisco for dinner without a second thought or maybe take a cruise to Hawaii on your own. Can you even imagine the possibilities? The money that goes into these high price "toys" is amazing. Now the real question is, how do we acquire one of these?

Wanna-Be Entrepreneur Introduction

Welcome to my first blog post. My name is Mike and I am a 30 your old guy that is a wanna-be entrepreneur. I currently reside in Scottsdale, AZ while working a full time job at a well known medical facility. I have a wonderful girlfriend that stands by me and all my crazy ideas. I honestly couldn't ask for more from her and I appreciate her putting up with me.

Many of my friends and family consider me funny, outgoing, sensitive (yes I cry very easily, now get off my back) and easy to get along with. They also agree that I am a whiz with computers (if they only knew) and feel I should start a career in that field. Yes I love computers and enjoy spending time creating fake website just for entertainment purposes but in reality, I want something more. I have had many ideas and thoughts about what I would like to accomplish in my life pertaining to becoming an entrepreneur. This blog will be my life story and you get to be in the passenger seat the whole trip. So sit down, buckle up and hold on because it's going to be one wild ride!
